carousel

A carousel the heart of any amusement park and where you can take a spin still as you have been able to along with your ancestors for over 100 years!

PTC51

A PTC carousel and my personal favorite carver. This is PTC #50 at a amusement park and looks in great condition. PTC is a great horse carver and I think also has great rounding boards. PTC carousels are commonly found in the states. Like at King’s island, the Palisades mall in NYC and the one at Six Flags Over Georgia and many others.

Highland_Park_Dentzel_Carousel_2

A lot of Dentzel carousels look similar except for their unique horses. there are 3 jumping kangaroos made by Dentzel in existence. one on a carousel and one in a private collection.

HorseCarouselLead

The lead horse is usually the horse most decorated and in front of the chariot.
